After 15 days of the kites being retained in customs at the Venetian airport, numerous phone calls, plenty of emails, the kites were finally released. The bureaucracy and Italian customs was no joke but with the help of the Best Kiteboarding crew we managed to make it happen as smooth as possible.
The other great news which I am stocked to announce is my partnership with Best Kiteboarding. I am now an official Team Rider for one of the top kiteboarding manufacturers in the world. Woop Woop!
After impatiently waiting for three long weeks I’m exited to finally have the chance to try my new TS kites even though the forecast was not helping….It feels like purgatory knowing your kites are near you and you can’t access them.
Unfortunately the TS 15m is out of stock, and yesterday the wind was light. While sitting around for a few hours me and my mate Devid decided to set up 4 extensions lines that connected the 2 kites together, one TS12 and one TS10, making a total of 22 square meters of pure bliss sail area controlled by the same bar.
I have tried this before but this time around I was surprised how these two kites flew in harmony and in perfect synchronization while riding with almost no wind.
